Isabela is passionate about connecting people and sharing stories and ideas.
Her experience in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors grants her a unique perspective to create value to multiple stakeholders.
Prior to Briyah, Isabela worked as Communication and Public Affairs Manager at Edelman in Brazil, where she was responsible for developing and activating communication strategies for global companies, strengthening the relationship with key stakeholders and clients.
She worked for five years at the Government of the State of São Paulo and for nearly two years at São Paulo’s City Hall as the Mayor´s Advisor for Protocol and Public Relations.
In the third sector she developed and monitored social projects in underserved communities.
Isabela represented the Brazilian Value Institute in the World Social Forum in Caracas (2006) and Nairobi (2007). She holds degrees International Relations and Corporate Communications, and also studied Art History and French at the Institute Catholique de Paris. She speaks Portuguese, French and English and currently lives in Chicago, IL. Isabela is married and has one daughter.
