Marcos has over 20 years of professional experience, being 4 of those as a Six Sigma Black Belt and other 12 years as Marketing Officer. During these periods, he was been awarded “lead of the year” in several opportunities within the companies he worked for, such as Dow Chemical Co., General Electric and Abbott Laboratories.
During his career, he has been accountable for projects that have helped companies enhance their reputation in multiple regions worldwide. Marcos also drove insight-based innovation that delivered products and services designed to address societal needs and environmental impact besides providing the return to their shareholders.
Marcos, a passionate learner and educator, has acted as a supporter of social transformation in partnership with schools and universities, in initiatives as diverse as teaching Economics to public school students and mentoring young professionals to developing and managing funding alternatives to boost NGOs activities and provide tools for students to start their professional careers strongly. He is a believer in the value of providing access to Education and trustful sources of information as a way to develop mindful professionals and purpose-driven organizations.
